Updated: In an announcement released on Monday, Pulse also congratulated Dr. Muscat and the Labour Party on last week’s election victory.
“The organisation hopes that throughout these five years the new administration will continue giving the importance to the education sector in the same way it did during the election campaign.”, the statement continued,” While there is the need to continue sustaining areas which have done successfully in the past, the government needs to address pressing education issues which affects the lives of thousands of students.
The statement also praised the election as a healthy democratic process, as the organisation also looks forward to meeting with the members of the new government’s education sector. Pulse also thanked outgoing prime minister Dr. Lawrence Gonzi for his contributions towards the country.
