The Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Malta will be offering a part-time Evening Master of Science Programme in Clinical Ethics and Law, aimed at personnel in the Health Care profession.
This new programme will focus on the ethical and legal questions raised in the context of such medical issues as genetics, assisted reproduction, mental health, and organ donations. It will also concentrate on medical law, communication skills, conflict resolutions, counselling at the beginning and end of life, medical leadership, the functions of ethics committees, public health, and ethics ward rounds.
The part-time evening course will be spread over 6 semesters and will be both lecture and research based.
